Sunshine String Band

The music we play are songs that everybody recognizes and loves to sing along with and dance to! .............Oldies, Folk, Country, Classic Rock, Bluegrass and More! (like Christmas and Irish tunes).  We also perform many original tunes and songs.

Kim and Dave have been out playing music with their sons, Tyler and Robert for a few years now as "The Sunshine String Band".  Kim plays the guitar, harmonica and sings lead and harmony vocals.  Dave plays the stand up bass and sings some songs and back up vocals .  Robert plays the banjo and does some fine lead singing and harmonay vocals.  Kelly has been adding a lot with her fine mandolin playing and lead and harmony vocals. She also plays the guitar, and does percussion.  As a band we are all friends; and we are all growing as Musicians.  We have been playing at many Street Strolls; Art In The Parks: Festivals and other events.   Since November 2005, we, as a band,  have performed hundreds of shows all over Michigan!  We are just getting started!!!!!
